Saw two guys dismantling one of the beach bars, a sure sign if we needed it that summer is well behind us. Also there was some filming going on around the Benapres statue – lots of oriental folks strolling along and being recorded for who-knows-what – promo, movie, no idea.
(Constantinople becomes the biggest city in the world, overtaking Rome; the three Roman emperors Constantius, Constans and Constantine (all brothers – serious lack of imagination detected here) come to blows and it’s Constantine who comes off worst, being killed at Aquileia in northern Italy. This leaves Constans to take the central part of the empire as well as the west.)
