A weird evening and night in Chester-le-Street as the family are still enjoying the heady delights of a few days in Scarborough (holiday from the holiday from the holiday for the children, as I like to call it).
Out this morning still moderately confused about what the time is, running past various hoards of schoolkids at bus stops. I just did the super-simple 2.5k to Birtley, turn round and come back. It has the benefit of being almost completely flat so I just charged along and tried to keep the time down a bit.
Storm clouds gathering and hopefully passing.
